The average person in developed countries works according to research in total around 80000 hours. This is an incredible amount of time to help shaping a preferable future. But especially for professionals who are not in the last couple of years before their retirement, the timespan seems intangible at best or at worst even close to infinite. And we all know what happens with a task that has an infinite amount of time available, right?
So in this lightning talk I first want to help colleagues assess how much time they have left in their particular working mode, as this hard and tangible ‘deadline’ is an incredibly motivating factor for most creatives. So after the talk, attendees have a number in their mind that can serve as a helpful constraint in forming a strategy how to maximise their positive impact on the world.
