ABOUT

After 15 yeas of working all over the world, with everyone from vast corporations to tiny startups, Louise decided that the skills she needed to provide effective and user-centred design in the modern age lay outside the UX scope-of-practice. One career-suicide and brave leap later, she is now a fully qualified physiotherapist eager to build better understanding in tech about the full range of human experience.

Her career progressed from the early days of IA, leading the digitisation of content and services for Ofsted, to researching and specifying complex user journeys of employees for the world’s largest digital workplaces. She has spoken about the ethics of digital design and given industry training on how to put users at the center of the design process. When not doing any of that, she loves to surf badly and walk with her dog in wet forests.
